When the inevitable happened and the corruption spread to the jungle side, I simply went to my backup save of my world right before I fought the WoF, and moved it back to the Worlds folder where the game accesses the files. On my most recent world, I decided to back up the world files so that I could hopefully restore it to pre-hardmode if the corruption/hallow split ended up not going in the way I want it to go, with the hallow headed toward the jungle. map file in the Players folder, in addition to replacing the world file with a prior save return a hardmode world back into a regular world?
